Dan Y Coed Receive Glowing Estyn Inspection

Today, we want to shine a light on our amazing Dan Y Coed School team following the release of their Estyn Inspection today!

The positive report noted how pupils at Dan Y Coed make significant progress thanks to the school's bespoke, broad, and balanced curriculum – including the innovative ASPIRE and FLIGHT models that support academic, social, and emotional development.

The report also praised Dan Y Coed's strong safeguarding culture, its commitment to children's rights through the UNCRC and 'Orbi' mascot, and the wealth of enriching community partnerships – from local businesses to St Fagans National Museum of History.

We're especially proud that Estyn highlighted three spotlight areas, recognising innovative practice across the school – a fantastic achievement that reflects the dedication and creativity of the whole team.
