Support Worker ( To Adult’s with Autism  )

Full time – 37.5 hours per week 

Salary – £14,391 – £18,000 Dependant on experience

We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to be part of the team at Coed Parc House. Coed Parc House is a  specialist residential service for young adults aged 18-64 with Autistic Spectrum Condition. We offer a unique environment for our young adults to develop and reach their full potential. Coed Parc House is situated in Cwmavan, approximately two and a half miles from Port Talbot train station.

Coed Parc House prides itself on being able to promote the rights of the young adults in our care, by providing outstanding therapeutic and personal care in their residences and in the wider community.



The role will require you to:

»Support young adults in a range of activities on site at Coed Parc House as well as in the community, ensuring that all duties are carried out to a high standard.

»Provide excellent teamwork and support to fellow team members and the registered manager.

»Write reports on a daily basis, and be involved in the development and implementations of placement and support plans as part of the key working groups.

» As a Support Worker, you will follow a 24 hour, 365 days a year rota.

» You will be required to work shifts overnights, days and weekends.

Whilst it would be desirable for applicants to have their NVQ/QCF Level 2 / 3 in Health and Social Care it is not essential.

Experience within the healthcare sector would also be desirable but not essential.
