Housekeeping Assistant (to children and young people with an Autistic Spectrum Condition)
Full time: 37.5 Hours Per Week
Salary: £14,391- £15,268 per Annum

One of our newest facilities is Summergil House, a specialist children’s home and school set in 18 acres of idyllic scenery in Presteigne, Powys, close to the border with Herefordshire .

What do we need you to do?
The role will require you to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the school and residences the same as you would expect in your own home
As a housekeeper you will support the unit in the effective running of the hotel services framework and maintaining all areas to the highest standard possible to ensure our young people have a happy safe clean environment in which to grow and learn.

We welcome applicants with experience and qualifications in Elderly care, Health care, Domiciliary care, Residential Care and Domestic Cleaning. Experience gained here will serve you well.
What you need to be aware of?
This is a physically demanding role, you need to have the confidence to manage a mix of challenging behaviours that children and young people with Autism and other associated learning disabilities can present; but don’t worry, there will be training and plenty of support.
Summergil is open 365 days of the year, and you will be required to work on a rota for days, nights and weekends.
