Coed Parc House is a residential service in Cwmavon near Port Talbot, for adults with needs associated with autism.
The service comprises of 6 stunning self-contained apartments, each with its own bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and lounge. Each apartment is designed with its individual resident in mind Additional communal lounges and kitchens provide residents with plenty of opportunities to socialise, whilst a sensory room, cinema room and 3-acres of woodland criss-crossed with walks, around a summer house, provide relaxing oases of calm.
Where Is Coed Parc House?
Coed Parc House is located just minutes away from Port Talbot, and a few miles from the 850-acre Margam Park with its castle, monastery and orangery. Just 20 minutes along the coast is Swansea, which has everything you would expect from a thriving city, including coastal walks, shopping centres, arts centres and more. Continue down the coast to the Mumbles, Caswell Bay and Britain’s first ever Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Gower Peninsular. Within an hour you can be in Cardiff, or walking amongst the breathtaking landscapes of the Brecon Beacons.
Many of the residents at Coed Parc also access our work and life-skills day service in Porth. The Orb serves as a hub for a full and engaging programme of life and work-skills, learning and leisure. Coed Parc and The Orb can combine to offer a 24-hour blend of residential and day support that ensures the individual is active, engaged, having fun and developing in all aspects of their lives.
