Job Title: Support Worker
Base: Tŷ Coryton – Cardiff, Tŷ Bronllys – Brecon, The Old Vic – Newport
Working: 24 hour, 365 days a year rota, according to the needs of
Arrangements: the children and young people and the service. Hours of work 37.5 hours per week with flexibility.
Reports to: Team Leader
Accountable to: Registered Manager
Conditions of Service: Orbis Education & Care terms and conditions
Overall Objective: To support young people who have an autistic spectrum conditions. To help in providing a fulfilling environment where the young person can develop to their full potential.
Qualifications & Training: Previous experience of working in the care sector would be an advantage, but not essential.
Health & Safety: All employees have a statutory duty of care for their own personal safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions.
Employees are required to co-operate with management to enable Orbis Education and Care to meet its own legal duties and to report any hazardous situations or defective equipment.
